As in previous years, BHAAAS is a proud partner of the European Researchers’ Night in Bosnia and Herzegovina, contributing to a program that brings science closer to people in an honest, accessible, and inspiring way.

As part of this year’s Researchers’ Night, the #BrainDate series was produced — short, dynamic video formats that, in just a few minutes, share the stories of individuals who are creating change in their respective fields. Participants in the #BrainDate series included BHAAAS members Naida Ademović, Jelena Arnautović, Ajla Akšamija, and Almir Karabegović, who spoke about their professional journeys, motivations, challenges, and the ways in which science and research shape their careers as well as their everyday lives.

We would also like to highlight that all participants in the #BrainDate series will appear at the 17th BHAAAS Days, where Naida Ademović, Almir Karabegović, and Jelena Arnautović will serve as symposium hosts, further confirming their active role in the scientific and academic community.

#BrainDate is conceived as a space where audiences can connect with science in a more human and immediate way. Through personal stories, conversations, and reflections, this series shows that science is not abstract or distant, but rather an integral part of our communities, choices, and future.

Below you can watch the individual #BrainDate video recordings featuring our participants.
